On February 18, 2024, the Serang Regency Government, through the Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud), conducted a Digital Smart Class Training for seven schools receiving Smart Class support. Hosted at SMP Negeri 1 Ciruas, this initiative aimed to train principals, teachers, and school operators in using cutting-edge digital tools to enhance learning experiences.
The training was led by key government representatives, including Dr. H. Asep Nugrahajaya (Head of the Education and Culture Office), who emphasized the importance of teacher preparedness in utilizing Smart Class technology effectively. As he put it:
“This tool is called Smart Class, so the teachers must also be smart. Don’t just receive sophisticated tools without mastering them!”
